ConfigCarry — YAML Update Review

New defaults. Your settings, carried forward.

ConfigCarry compares old defaults, your customized configuration and new defaults, then gives you a merge to review before using it.

Before you buy

This is preview version 0.1.0. Supply old and new unmodified defaults for the same plugin, plus your customized file. ConfigCarry is a comparison tool, not an automatic server updater or a plugin-schema validator.

Supports UTF-8 YAML mappings up to 256 KiB per file, string keys and a documented YAML subset. Anchors, aliases, explicit tags and complex keys are not supported. Formatting can change; setting renames need manual review. Back up your files and test the result on a staging server.

Included and requirements

ConfigCarry.html, START-HERE.md and third-party notices. Extract the ZIP and open ConfigCarry.html in a current desktop browser. Offline uploads, conflict choices and downloads were tested in Chrome and Edge. No subscription, server installation or hosted service is required.

One controlled EconomyShopGUI 7.2.1 shop-file merge was tested on Paper 1.21.11; other plugin schemas and versions are not guaranteed.
